Quarti 40mm Nylon Honey Gate / Tap with Back Nut – R11
A complete 40mm honey gate from Quarti Italy, manufactured from durable, food-grade nylon and supplied with a rear locking nut, food-grade silicone seals and stainless-steel fixings.
Unlike the R05 replacement model, the R11 includes the rear locking nut and larger rear seal needed to secure the gate through the wall of a suitable honey tank, bucket or container.
The sliding gate allows the flow of honey to be opened, controlled and securely closed, making it suitable for emptying settling tanks and extractors, transferring honey between containers or filling jars.

R11 or R05: which do I need?
Choose the R11 if you require a complete honey gate with a rear locking nut for fitting through the wall of a suitable tank, bucket or container.
Choose the R05 if you only need a replacement honey gate and already have a compatible mounting arrangement.
Fitting information
The R11 is fitted through a suitable opening in the container wall and secured from the rear using the supplied locking nut and seal.
Please check that the size, wall thickness and surface of your container are suitable before fitting. Install the seals correctly and test the container for leaks before filling it with honey.
Quarti recommends using its C110 fitting tool when tightening or loosening the rear locking nut.
Care and first use
Before using the honey gate for the first time, Quarti recommends applying a small amount of honey to the front silicone seal. This acts as a food-safe lubricant and helps the sliding gate move smoothly.
Clean the gate thoroughly before use and always check that the seals and locking nut are correctly positioned.
